Sunday Picnic
for out of town guests, those that can't make the wedding, and the Wedding Party

We feel blessed to have family and friends that are willing and able to make the journey to be with us on our special day. What makes us sad is that with the organized chaos (aka wedding) we will not get to spend enough time with you before you return home. Knowing that it is probably unrealistic to ask you to move to Boulder, we decided to have a picnic Sunday to spend some relaxed time with you before your departure.

Time: 10:30 am -- 2:30 pm. This is a casual event. Feel free to stop by for 30 minutes on the way to the airport or enjoy the sun and company for the whole time..

What: Light lunch, Games, and most importantly, time to Chat.

Where: Viele Lake (officially known as "Harlow Platts Park" or "the park next to South Boulder Rec"). This park, nestled in the shadows of the mountains, has a lake with a nice trail around it, playground for children, shelter in case of rain, and lots of grass.

Directions:
From the wedding site: Go North on Broadway (93) into Boulder.
Turn West (left) onto Table Mesa Drive (the second traffic light and first major intersection you will hit)
Turn left onto Gillaspie (immediately after the King Soopers)
Follow Gillaspie until you hit the park on the left. It's very large with lots of open fields, so you shouldn't miss it. After the first main field will be a building with a parking lot in front (the South Boulder Rec Center). Park in this parking lot or on the street if it is full. If you are facing the Rec Center from the parking lot, we will be off to the right near the shelter by the lake or just past there near the playground.
