Transportaton
Boulder:
Boulder
has a great transportation system for getting around town, but it won’t
get you to the wedding site. This can be achieved by car or taxi. www.boulder.com has rental car info for Boulder.
Denver International Airport (DIA) to Boulder:
- Rental car - There are plenty
of rental car places at the airport.
There are some options other than
a rental car. The following are accessible right outside of baggage claim
at DIA. There are also info-booths at DIA (if you come in at a normal
time)
- RTD (a.k.a. the bus): http://www.rtd-denver.com/
You will want the AB (Airport-Boulder)
route. Tickets can be purchased at the RTD counter inside the airport
main terminal or on the bus (exact change required). Cost: $10 each
way. Departs about every hour.
- Taxi – Don’t do this
from the airport as you will surely meet financial doom.
Denver AmTrak
Train Station to Boulder:
- RTD (a.k.a. the bus): http://www.rtd-denver.com/
You will want the B (Denver-Boulder)
or B Express route from Union Station or the main downtown Denver
bus station at 16th & Market. Tickets can be purchased
at the RTD counter or on the bus (exact change required). Cost: $3.75
each way. Departs about half hour.
