Website:  Working on an all new website, so look for changes

Now (or close too it)

As of January 13, 2008 we have a boy Keaton in our lives.  When not hanging out with Keaton and Karyn, I'm working at the US Bureau of Reclamation Water Treatment Engineering Team in Lakewood, CO, or rescuing people via the Rocky Mtn. Rescue Group which performs the mountain rescues for Boulder County. RMRG has a new website that I helped create, so check it out if you get a chance. You also might find me at Boulder Mennonite or St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Boulder, listening to National Public Radio or hiking around Boulder baby! One of my new ventures is a slew of green building and renewable energy projects including my new website EnviroHouse.org. Also working on a South Boulder community website (SouthBoulder.org)

Little extra

I grew up the youngest of 4 in Ridgewood, NJ. I am 33 years young. I am a Christian, an Eagle Scout, a member of the NY/NJ Trail Conference, Catskill 3500 Club, Sierra Club, National Public Radio, and the Nature Conservancy. I have hiked and canoed extensively in the mountains of the NE, which are forever engrained in me. I have a slight obsession with nasty weather on Mount Washington, NH. I began my college experience (career) at the University of New Hampshire, transferred to theUniversity of Colorado - Boulder in 1994 and graduated in December 1997 in Civil/Environmental Engineering. I finished my masters at CU in Environmental Engineering in August 2001. I have had the opportunity to work at Rocky Flats (the former nuclear weapons site), at a firm in Portland Oregon, and the National Renewable Energy Labs (NREL). I am married to a fantastic woman, Karyn Buhler! (Wedding site).

Longer Term Plans

Enjoy being married, not let Karyn kick my ass, 2 kids (the usual!).

The Career: My carreer intention is to take part in helping those that need clean water and cleaning up the environment which I love. I plan to work in the U.S. and developing countries on a paid and volunteer basis, in many facets of water treatment and environmental rehabilitation. If I didn't need the money, I would work in my career anyway.

Comments, etc. are certainly welcome.

View Point

-In my opinion, President George W Bush and James Dobson may have done more to hurt Christianity than help. Although I would agree that much of what they believe (but not all) in is inline with God's view, their alienation of non-Christians away from Christianinty, what I consider the gravest sin, can not be excused.

-Christianity is not about Republicans or Democrats, although many trying to make it that way. One's literal or interpretive view of the Bible seem's to be turning out to be becoming a partisan issue. Christianity is about what God wants, it is about Love

-Any religious politician that says that says religion does not play a role in political decisions is lying. Religion is fine, but there needs to be limits on the role of religion in politics.

-No Drilling in the Arctic Wildlife Refuge, I believe that God values such places left wild.

My Quotes

-Peace will only come to the world when everyone admits that their religion may not be the best one to follow. That another religion may be a closer path to God's will. At that point, there will be no forcing of religious values on others, just mutual learning, respect and Love.
